FLINTHAM CRICKET CLUB
WELCOME
Flintham C.C. are an authentic village club, but with top class facilities. Our modern pavilion, built in 2003, is of a high spec with decent size changing & function rooms.
We currently run Two adult teams, U15, U13 and U11 hardball and U11 Kwik; from 2008 we will also be entering a 2nd XI into the Gunn & Moore South Notts Cricket League.
Two Thousand And Seven was an average season for the F.C.C First XI, with the team finishing mid-table. The juniors, like everyone else, suffered at the hands of the weather but, in a spell of late summer sunshine, the teams played on an almost daily basis to complete their league and cup fixtures. In the Newark League the U13 side finished a very creditable fourth, and the young U15 team finished fifth in their age group. We're hoping for even better next year.....and a bit more sunshine!
As well as the cricket, Flintham CC and the Sports and Social Association organise a variety of social events throughout the year. If you are interested in joining our club (you will find some useful contact numbers in our about us section) in any shape or form, you will be made to feel most welcome.
OUR PAVILION IS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE. We can cater for your Party, Meeting, Dinner, Keep Fit Class, etc. The function room seats Sixty Eight. Call our Bookings Secretary for more info.
